I congratulate you for selecting SBS Law College, to further your education. Today SBS is a name to be reckoned with and the laurels earned by our students have only strengthened its reputation. Established in 2001, the college has dedicated itself for the services to legal education. Law according to us is not a super structure or an activity of the state, but a part of life. Law is the foundation of the universe – everything is centered around law. This belief is expressed in our motto “धर्मे सर्वं प्रतिष्ठितम्” (Everything is centered in law) and the values we cherish are – जीवनाची चतुःसूत्री: स्वयं प्रकाश, स्वावलंबन, शिक्षण, आणि शिस्त. Guided by this philosophy of law, SBS has nourished its own educational culture. Law and its profession, have acquired a central place in the global economy. We are striving to meet global challenges by effectively combining the theory and the practice of law. In addition to classroom teaching, we lay great emphasis on clinical legal education – moot courts, legal aid, legal literacy and research. This holistic education is designed to expose the students to court crafts, provide in-sights into law, and generate awareness about social relations.
